    Abstract: School campus is the place where educational ongoing process takes place to nuture children and train up to competent people .The importance of school cannot be overemphaiszed. However, as tender seedlings need to be protected carefully, school students should be taken elabotate care of. With complete security for compuses, teachers and students can devote themselves to educating and learning. A leak in safety can reneder to null all people’s efforts. During recess, elementrary school students usually play outdoors. However, since outdoor- activitied accidents happen in campus ofen, we should pay more attention to improve the outdoor-activitied safety. This research focuses on pupils’ behavior and the awareness towards the outdoor-activitied safety in campus. The subjects are the students of Ymie Elementary School in Taichung County. The researcher utilized survey and questionnaires to collect data. There are pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The data are analyzed by cross tabulation comparison. There are 80 valid questionnaires. The research methods involved in this research are descriptive statistics, and t-test to explore the variances between groups. Also, Scheffe’s multiple comparisons to analyze the variances in order to reveal the difference between various subjects in responding the same question items.The objective of this research is to find out the correlation between schoolchildren‘s behavoir and awareness toward the outdoor activities in campus to provide the authorities a practical standpoint when designing effective school facilities. So that it would help reduce the posibility of students doing dangerous actions to hurt themselves or others. This result suggests that the classroom teaching should be depended on the outreach of campus safety. Besides, the classroom teaching can be employed to promote students’ campus safety behavior and awareness. The result of this research suggest desirable educational patterns in the hope that the number of reported accidents can be decreased.
