    Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explore the operation of the open-pit excavation operation. According to the excavation area of 312 square meters, the excavation depth is 9.8 meters and the groundwater is -2.8 meters according to the ground floor of the seventh floor of the Xiutun section of Taichung City. Soil support construction to do the basement excavation. To study the open-air excavation operations and excavation plans to develop and analyze the contents of the operation process, from which to explore excavation methods and safety protection measures to avoid and reduce unknown and known hazards to achieve good operating procedures, the establishment of excellent construction quality.
