    Title: (準)諮商心理師接觸性議題之初探研究
    An Exploratory Study of (prospective) Counseling Psychologists Dealing with Client’s Sex Issues

    Abstract: 本研究以全台灣的諮商心理師以及準諮商心理師(完成全職實習諮商心理師)為研究對象,調查其性議題之接案經驗、性知識、性態度等現況,並了解其性議題接案經驗、性知識、性態度之間的關係以及其個別背景變項,如:性別、年資、婚姻狀況、宗教信仰等在性議題接案經驗、性知識及性態度上差異情形。
    研究結果發現:
    一、背景分佈:男性佔32.6%,女性佔67.3%;年齡以「30-39歲」最多,佔49.1%,「60歲以上」最少,佔0.5%。在服務區域方面,「中部」最多,佔61.9%,「東部及離島」最少,佔1.5%。執登(完成實習)場域方面,「大專院校」最多,佔52.5%,最少為「醫療院所」,佔8.4%。年資部分,「2年以下」最多,佔53.9%、最少為「16-20年」,佔3.5%。
    二、現況的狀態:性議題的接案經驗上以個別晤談處理案主性議題為最多,達99%,其次為團體,達31.2%;而服務的性議題類別則以關係(愛、約會、婚姻與家庭)為最多,達87.6%;而在面對性相關議題的處理方式,有84.2%的(準)諮商心理師會選擇自行尋找資料。(準)諮商心理師性知識整體平均數為3.70。可以發現(準)諮商心理師在「避孕相關」(M = 3.93)掌握度最高,在「人工流產」最低(M = 3.25);主要是透過書籍、雜誌來獲得性相關知識(79.7%)。性態度整體平均數為4.17。在「具爭議性的性議題,我能夠保持客觀、多元的態度」的反思程度最高( M =4.33),而平均數最低則為「避孕責任」(M = 3.95)。
    三、性別、年資、婚姻狀況、性態度都會對性議題接案經驗、性知識、性態度的部分面向有所影響。
    四、接案經驗與性知識、性態度皆有顯著正相關,性知識與性態度有顯著正相關。
    期盼本研究結果可作為未來對諮商心理師課程訓練規畫參考,以補足諮商心理師訓練過程對於性議題訓練之不足,甚而編制諮商心理師接觸性議題的專業評估量表,更細緻的評估諮商心理師接觸性議題的專業準備程度。
    The research itself took (prospective) counseling psychologists in Taiwan as subjects to survey their current experiences of dealing with sex issues, sex knowledge and attitude, also the connection and variables among them, such as gender, year of service, marital status and religion.

    The research indicates that:
    1. Background:
    For the gender category, 32.6% is male, and female counts for 67.3%.
    For age, 30-39 years old composes of the majority of 49.1%, over 60 years old only counts for 0.5%. For the aspect serve region, 61.9% is in the middle of Taiwan, Eastern part and offshore of Taiwan counts the least, only 1.5%. For the registration of practice part, universities and colleges take up the largest proportion of 52.5%, on the other hands, medical institution only occupies 8.4%. Lastly, for the years of service, under 2 years takes over half, reaching 53.9%, and the 16-20 years accounts for the fewest, only 3.5%.

    2. Current status:
    99 percent of counseling psychologists dealt with clients’ own sex issues when it comes to sex dealing cases, group counseling takes the second place, accounts for 31.2%. Nevertheless, approximately 87.6% of sex cases dealing with relationship issues such as love, dating, marriage and family for the most, reaching 87.6%. From the approaches while dealing with sex cases, there are 84.2% of the (prospective) counseling psychologists look up for related information on their own by books and magazines (79.7%). Among those (prospective) counseling psychologists, the overall average score for sex knowledge is 3.70, in which the mastery of contraception related issues reaches the highest(M=3.93); on the other hand, abortion related issue accounts for the least(M=3.25). The overall average score for sex attitude is 4.17. The highest self-reflection is on (prospective) counseling psychologists who can hold objective and multiple attitude for controversial sex issues. Never but the last, responsibility of contraception has the lowest score (M=3.95).

    3. Gender, years of service, marital status and religion will affect on dealing with sex cases, sex knowledge and sex attitude.

    4. The experience of case dealing has highly positive correlation with sex knowledge and sex attitude; furthermore, sex knowledge and sex attitude has notably positive correlation.

    This research result could provide the planning reference for counseling psychologists training in the future, for making up the insufficient training on sex cases dealing; moreover, by creating this professional assessment sheet for (prospective) counseling psychologists dealing with client’s sex issues in order to appropriately evaluate the readiness for counseling psychologists.
