    Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the present cyclists their relationships with motivation, constraints, and promotion in leisure activity, and we also discussed their differences under different background variables.This study chose Dapeng round-the-bay Bikeway as our study site. The questionnaire survey were used which is “Cyclists Their Motivation, Constraints, and Promotion in Leisure Activity in Dapeng Bay Round-The-Bay Bikeway: a questionnaire survey” as our investigation tool. The examination was performed in 378 valid questionnaires. Statistical software SPSS For Windows 17.0 were used to analyze the data. All the data were tested by Pearson’s correlation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed significant differences between their economic and social background, leisure motivation, leisure constraints, and leisure promotion among different characteristics of cyclists. There was a significantly positive correlation between leisure motivation and leisure promotion, also leisure constraints and leisure promotion. It means the higher leisure promotion the respondents have, and their leisure motivation and leisure constraints also will be higher.This study discussed and studied the recent use of Dapeng round-the-bay Bikeway. According to our research results, we hope we can provide some information for designing and planning suggestions to increasing the usage rate of Dapeng round-the-bay Bikeway, and further studies.Keywords: Dapeng Round-The-Bay Bikeway, LeisureMotivation,Leisure Constraints, Leisure Promotion
