    Abstract: The main purpose of the study is to introduce the hottest new risen technology
    RFID(Radio Frequency Identify) into campus and, furthermore, to achieve an
    e-campus that will lead to the capability of creative teaching.
    By walking near to a campus tree with a PDA, the PDA will show you the
    information such as its name, characteristic, different forms in four seasons, the
    general purpose, and other relating information to be linked.By applying this teaching
    method, students will be motivated to visit these plants, and therefore will promote the
    interest of studying.
    In order to teach students active-learning and inspire their interest, the study will
    use SQL Server 2005 as the data base system, develop it with ASP.NET(using
    C#)program, and then integrate with the campus wireless internet environment to
    implement a PDA-based teaching system for identifying campus plants.The
    establishment of this system will be helpful for the future related research and
    teaching-action research.
    By collecting and studying related articles of RFID application, botanical classify
    theory and data base system, this article will implement a PDA-based teaching system
    for identifying campus plants by using WEB-based interface integrating RFID with
    campus plant data base.
