Abstract: In this paper a framework for a high-confidence e-healthcare information system which meets five criteria including availability, reliability, security, survivability and restorability is proposed. The function of this framework is to prevent the destruction from malicious intentions by integrating the technologies of information hiding, encryption, monitoring, self-adaptation and fast inference. This framework contains proactive-VPN, efficient e-anamnesis transmission, e-anamnesis protection, and intelligent monitoring components. The proactive-VPN, combining with the efficient e-anamnesis transmission component to provide the secure network environment, is designed for handling large-sized e-anamnesis. The e-anamnesis protection component is designed to protect the e-anamnesis by ensuring confidentiality. The intelligent monitoring component is designed for monitoring all users’behaviors in the framework. Finally, some experiments have been done to demonstrate the performance of our framework.
