    Abstract: In Taiwan, there is not much reference literature about the management of a racecourse, and the Tianma Racecourse Sports Club is a racecourse just built and started. In this article, the startup of a racecourse from scratch was explored and recorded. The goal of the current research was to improve the management of a racecourse through the exploration of a few representative racecourses in the north, middle, and south Taiwan, to be informed of their running years, number of horses and coaches; how they conducted environmental impact assessments (EIA), marketing and management; and how they faced difficulties in the management. The understanding of these issues of multiple racecourses was to provide a direction for the dissemination and marketing of Tianma Racecourse at its starting, and to find out the characteristics of Tianma Racecourse.
